Android Software Engineering Intern , May 2023 - Present

  • Collaborated with a team of 25 software engineers in development of Android Automotive solutions for in-vehicle infotainment system for client Stellantis. Primarily involved in use case implementation, defect fixing and validation.
  • Led construction of android application 'HybridPSA' from inception coded in Kotlin/Java and based on MVVM model. Worked with various Android libraries and frameworks such as Volley, Retrofit, Glide, and Dagger.
  • Teamed with 5 software developers and test engineers to develop proof of concept called 'Predictive and Personalized Assistant' for Intelligent Vehicles.
  • Collaborated closely with a Senior Product Engineer to migrate Android AOSP from Android Q to Android R, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout entire process.
  • Took initiative to integrate third party APIs and libraries and completed task within 20% of set time.
  • Leveraged Kotlin/Java on Android platform, REST, XML to construct key features of above mentioned software products. Participated in all stages of software development lifecycle, including product's build, validation, release.
